Cooking is both an art and a science. It can be learned, as nobody is born a chef. How well you cook, like anything else you do, depends on your interest and passion. If you have no interest or if you are cooking out of necessity, it will be just another chore, and chances are you are unlikely to go beyond a mediocre level. However, if you have an interest and cook with passion, you are likely to create great dishes over time. I enjoy cooking mostly Western cuisine from pasta and pizza to Goulash and Coq Au Vin, although I can also whip up some local βzi charβ dishes. Since my retirement, I have been cooking a few times a week for my family. Below are some of the foods I cook, ranging from a simple healthy burger to a more laborious homemade pizza.
