Xiapu (霞浦县) China

Xiapu, a coastal town in Fujian Province, China, is renowned for its stunning mudflats, often touted as the most beautiful in China. It's a hidden gem that has gradually gained recognition among photographers and nature enthusiasts alike.

Beyond the mudflats, Xiapu is also home to charming fishing villages where people are primarily engaged in aquaculture, kelp farming, etc. In fact, the local people are as much a part of the scenery adding a human touch to a beautiful landscape photo, as shown in a number of photos here.
